It is that time of year again, the first bulbs are just starting to appear and spring is definitely in the air. Now is the time when we look to spring clean our houses, getting rid of the old to make way for the new.
The same theory can be applied to your oral health. It is very easy to slip into bad habits, which can overtime cause damage to your teeth and gums. So here at Valley Dental Practice we have a 5-point plan to get your smile spring ready.
What do you do if you have a dental emergency over the Festive Period?
Should you have dental emergency in the run up to Christmas, we are open as normal until Thursday 22nd December at 1pm. We will then be closed until Tuesday 3rd January when we will reopen at 9am.
The key focus of all Denplan Plans is to ensure that patients receive the best possible preventative dental care, to enable them to keep their own teeth for as long as possible.
We are delighted to announce that from Thursday 20th November we will have a new hygienist, Hannah starting at the practice to help reduce the long wait times we have been experiencing for hygienist appointments. Hannah has been a dental nurse for a number of years and has recently qualified as a hygienist.
We hope that bringing in another dedicated hygienist to our practice will help to support our preventive approach to oral health. By maintaining a healthier mouth between appointments and visiting your dental team regularly, you can reduce the potential for more expensive invasive dental treatments in the long run.
